Microdermals are also known as Dermal Anchoring or Microdermal implants.The client must be 18 yrs old, the jewellery must be a Medical Grade of Titanium and it must be implanted using the highest standards of Hygiene.

Microdermals are meant to be permanant, removing them is possible but complex.

The Microdermal consists of a small plate that sits under the skin and it has a threaded post for the attachments of jewels etc. We prefer to use the plates with holes in them as they promote tissue growth and anchorage.

Dermal Implants can be placed almost anywhere on the body and are no more painful to fit than a surface piercing, but they do carry a higher risk of infection. The "beauty" of this technique is that it requires no special tools and is minimally invasive. However, it does need some advanced techniques and a pair of steady experienced hands.
